Spokane, Washington native Luke Clausen is one of only five anglers in history to have won both the Forrest Wood Cup and the Bassmaster Classic. And he accomplished this rare feat within three years of starting his professional bass-fishing career.
Clausen burst onto the national scene as a rookie in 2004, winning what was then known as the FLW Tour Championship on Logan Martin Lake in Alabama. Two years later, Clausen raised the Bassmaster Classic trophy over his head as he led wire-to-wire at the 2006 Classic on Lake Toho in Florida.
That kick-start has turned into one of the most successful tournament-fishing careers to date: Clausen has racked up 29 Top 10 finishes and over $2.3 million in tournament winnings.
